The "Genauas" is an ethnic group that originated from Gahna, now living in Morocco. The lead singer is (1) El Malem Mahmud Gania. While singing, El Malem acompanies himself with the "Sentir", a two string ethnic base made with camel skin. El Malem Mahmud Gania is also a "Shaman" that practices trance healing ceremonies that last all night until sunrise.
